    Tortum Waterfalls  

    Tortum Waterfalls is one of Türkiye’s waterfalls. It formed by Lake Tortum overflowing the landslide mass in the Tev Valley. It is 21 meters wide and 48 meters high. Visitors are interested in the landscape terrace in front of the waterfall.

    “Aşık” Tradition

    A sophisticated form of art including poetry, music and storytelling that has been shaped by centuries of experience. It is a significant expression of the cultural memory, diversity and richness of Anatolia. Ashik contest is a kind of competition in which minimum two ashiks seek to defeat their opponents with their lyrics before an audience.

    UNESCO added the Ashik Tradition in the Representative List of Intangible Cultural Heritage in 2009.
